Here’s How to activate 5G On Your iPhone
Users need to go to the Settings app, open the General tab and navigate to Software Update. An option to download iOS 16.2 will appear. Download and install it after agreeing to the terms of service when the download is complete. It is recommended to back up all data before installing the latest version.
After installing the update, users will need to restart their devices. After restarting, a new 5G status icon will appear in the notification area if Wi-Fi is not active. If the icon is not visible, users can go to the Settings app, go to the Cellular Data tab, and access the Cellular Data option. With two active SIM cards, users can choose which SIM card they want to use 5G on. Those who have a 4G SIM card and data plan do not need to change anything because Airtel and Jio SIM cards are compatible.
The new update also adds Apple Music Sing functionality to all devices. iPhone 14 and iPhone Pro models get lock screen improvements and other bug fixes.
